Discover the Wonderful World of Herbal Teas.

Our Herbal Tea blends, often categorized as tisanes or herbal infusions, are lively mixtures that beautifully combine dried herbs, spices, flowers, and sometimes dried fruit pieces or hibiscus for a stunning color and tartness. These infusions are a sensory delight, featuring the natural essence of botanicals. They are naturally 100% caffeine-free, making them an ideal choice for a calming ritual any time of day, a healthy alternative to juice, or a delightful evening treat.

The signature elements of our Herbal Teas, like Chamomile and Peppermint, offer their own unique benefits:

  • Dried Herbs and Spices (e.g., Peppermint, Ginger): Provide a distinct, aromatic, and often soothing or invigorating flavor profile to the blend. They are valued for their diverse traditional wellness benefits.

  • Flowers and Roots (e.g., Chamomile, Licorice Root): Contribute subtle sweetness, floral notes, or earthy undertones. Often associated with calming, digestive, or balancing properties.

  • The Difference: Our Herbal Teas are tisanes (herbal infusions) made primarily from botanicals, flowers, roots, and spices, and do not contain the Camellia sinensis tea plant. This means they are inherently caffeine-free and naturally low in tannins. Unlike traditional true teas (Black, Green, Oolong), which are primarily made from leaves, our herbal blends offer a range of flavors that are naturally refreshing, both hot and iced.

Best Way to Brew the Perfect Herbal Tea

Herbal teas are very forgiving, and the key is using a high temperature and a slightly longer steep time to fully extract the beneficial flavor and properties from the botanicals.

Step Detail
Water TemperatureBoiling Water (212°F or 100°C). The hardy herbs, roots, and spices require high heat to release their essence fully.
Tea Quantity:  1 to 2 teaspoons of loose leaf blend per 8 ounces (240ml) of water. Adjust based on the blend's density and the strength of the herbal notes you prefer.
Steep Time:  5 to 7 minutes (or longer!). Since there are no Camellia sinensis leaves, you can steep for a longer time for maximum flavor and potency without worry of bitterness.
Preparation Tip:  Herbal Teas are wonderful served both hot and iced. To make the perfect pitcher, double the tea quantity, steep in hot water, then pour over ice-filled glasses. They are delicious as is, but a dash of honey, maple syrup, or lemon can enhance the natural notes.
